In the ending of The Dark Knight Rises it seems more like John Blake becomes Batman, but it would also be cool for him to adopt as Dick Grayson's Nightwing. Bruce Wayne actually explains that Batman could be anyone so it would be more ideal for Blake to take over the role.

Nightwing Suit: Nightwing's costume was built by Dick Grayson himself and specifically designed for his abilities. It appears to be light-sensitive, grows darker or lighter depending on lighting conditions in order to utilize Nightwing's mastery of stealth. My Favorite Batman Costumes

Since the first appearance of Batman on screen in 1943, the Caped Crusader has gone through transformation after transformation, batman costumes changes after change some more subtle than others. When looked at in their entire scope, the changes over the years have essentially made the Batman a new person altogether.

When it comes to the Dark Knight Batman, it seems to be tradition that the outfit change with each outing. My favorite will always be the Adam West costume, the Classic Grey and Blue Spandex Batsuit used on the TV show and movie.

I also like the first Michael Keaton costume.

Christian Bale’s Black Batman Costume is modern and functional, but too black. It’s too dark and brooding for my taste. It still looks cool, but it just doesn’t say Batman to me, especially with the vanishing bat symbol on the chest.

Again, the accurate comic book costume still looks good.

The way tights look in comic has become more and more exaggerated over the decades, and it's gone from representing what was simply accepted as the pinnacle of costume design during a more archaic era of superheroes, to being some kind of otherworldy material that does not exist in real life which is poured over the muscles of characters with impossible muscular proportions. Fans might not like it, but they should turn their ire towards the comic artists who set their expectations so ridiculously high in the first place for what tights and undies should look like. As soon as you concede that something other than skin-tight fabric and a cloth cowl need to be used for the costume, you can no longer make the claim of being "comic book accurate." And if there's one thing that I know about fans, is that many of them value accuracy over practicality anyway so there's no point in chasing that chuck wagon.spiderman morphsuits

The classic and comic accurate Batman Suit is a tight-fitting Spandex bodysuit, contrasting briefs are worn over a unitard similar to many superheroes. Batman #1 revealed that there is a ballistic vest sewn into the costume. In modern depictions, the briefs are integrated into the main costume, so that section of the costume constitutes only a seam and color change from the rest of the suit. Handcuffs: Nightwing is equipped with custom handcuffs that hook and lock much faster than average, though this may be due to Nightwing's skills.

Explosive Pellets: Tiny marble like devices that can utilize various effects such as explosion, gas release and a tripping element.

The Iron Spider costume was first given by Iron Man as a gift to Peter Parker. After Spiderman got rid of the Iron Spider costume and went back to his classic red and blue costume, the Red Team aka the Scarlet Spiders put this costume on.

The default look for this costume is a metallic red skin-tight suit covering the entire body with eyepieces, spider-legs, and a spider symbol on the chest, all in gold. The fabric of the costume is a liquid nano-fiber that can more or less disappear when needed. Three spider-legs in the back can pick things up and works as pseudo fingers; they also have cameras that can be display images in the costume's eyepieces. The spider-legs are all hidden in the costume's golden circle part in the back and can be deployed simply by mental command. I have always loved the Iron spiderman costume but no one has really seemed to capture the lenses as they should be. As far as the "waldoes" or legs I've only seen one person do this but they did it using a material that was filled with stuffing almost like a pillow.zentai suits

I want mine to have that sharp metallic look. I also want the lenses to be able to be pushed away from the eyes and back in place either manually or by using some remote system similar to how an iron man mask closes using electronics.

I would also love to have some of the lighting on the Iron spider costume like in this picture as well. I am developing some ideas but would love any creative input to get this rolling. I plan on starting with a base red body suit dye subed to try to give it a metallic electronic look. I plan on making all the armor and attaching it to the body suit using magnets but haven't decided on how to make the armor yet. I wish this would be epic if I can pull it off!

Controversial Scarlet Spider

The Scarlet Spider is a pretty controversial character, heralding from the spider man 'Clone Saga' in the 90's. The Scarlet Spider was Spider-man's clone, come back after a few years away. He made the scarlet spider costume quickly, an all-red bodysuit, and threw on a blue hoodie he got from the Museum of Natural History to complete the look.funny superhero costumes

If you're concerned about the name then don't fret as it was actually worked into the comic as what others called him (the character himself didn't like the name and thought it was stpuid) - that's a nice bit of pre-Marvel movie-verse character name dropping where it has become common place now.

The black Spiderman costume has a large white spider on the chest and back and white organic web-shooters on the backs of the hands. A variation on the black costume is featured in the film Spider-Man 3. The Spiderman 3 black suit includes the webbing pattern from Spider-Man's red and blue costume with a black coloring and a slightly altered spider symbol, both on his chest and back. The same costume is also worn by Venom, with the added details of Venom's signature teeth, a more muscular appearance and a spider on his chest that closer resembles the comic book version's spider emblem.

The Spiderman Black Suit/Symbiote Suit is probably the most popular variation of all spiderman costumes. It first introduced in Amazing Spider-Man #252 and famously appears again in the hugely popular Secret Wars crossover event. The costume is black, has a large white spider design on the chest area, slightly larger eye pieces and white organic web-shooters on the back of each hand.

The suit has been a fan favorite for years and will occasionally make an appearance from time to time, but mainly used for stealthy missions as it’s actually an alien symbiote that attaches itself to Peter Parker and mimics his abilities as Spider-Man. In Spider-Man 3, the symbiote attaches to Peter's bike early in the film. Later on, the symbiote covers his entire suit while he is asleep in the original red and blue costume. Much later in the movie, Peter takes off the symbiote, and as Eddie Brock is watching, gets engulfed by the symbiote to become Venom.

Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly, Peter's clone) is from the clone saga.

I liked how he used a somewhat different "arsenal" than Peter and his clashes with Kaine (another clone who was defective, different powers and with a grudge against Ben). Didn't like when the saga went into "who is the real Peter Parker" phase and Ben's subsequent costume change (and some other weird stuff...).

Even though the Scarlet Spider costume is quite "simple", it was basically red/scarlet full body suit with a blue rippled type jacket, but I like it, because I liked Ben's character at that time.

Let's be honest here. If you were Spidey, you'd try and maximize your effectiveness as much as possible and be more inclined to use tech-based suits like the Iron Spider Costume. Speaking personally, one of the reasons I really liked Ben Reilly was because he reminded me of how creative Spidey really was when he expanded his arsenal to use Stingers and Impact Webbing, something Spidey never incorporated into his own arsenal. If I were Peter, I'd have definitely have started using them after seeing Ben use them.

Some people do not like the Iron Spiderman costume even though it seemed like a good way for Spidey to maximize the use of his powers. This isn't like Captain America where his shield functions better without any bells and whistles. Me, I had no problem with it for the reason I mentioned above. It provided better protection, upped his offensive capabilities, and allowed him to use a greater variety of skills.

Jessica Drew Spider Woman Costumes

Jessica Drew is the most famous woman to take on the role of Spider-Woman. She’s not only the first Spider-Woman in comic books but also the one had her own animated television series that lasted from 1979 to 1980.

The most well-known Spider-Woman costume is the red and yellow costume. This tight full body suit is brightly colored for the comic book world but bares a lot of similarities to the black widow spider. Rather than having the main color be black, the dominate color is red. The red hourglass associated with black widows is then colored in yellow on her costume. Spider-Woman’s womanly curves are accentuated by having this hourglass shape placed in the center of her costume.

The original Jessica Drew spider-woman costume looks very similar to her present costume. The only major variation lies in the mask design. This would be one of the few times a woman taking on the role of Spider-Woman would cover her long hair. Most preferred the windblown look.

The Amazing Spider-Man video game arrives in stores in June including a ton of unlockable Spider-Man costumes that can be acquired by exploring the open-world Manhattan. Here are some of the suits the developer has included in the game:

The Negative Zone Spiderman Suit: Spider-Man’s costume turned into this silver-and-black version when he entered the Negative Zone. It allowed him to merge with shadows and become practically invisible in the comics, but don't expect those extra abilities here.

The Black Spiderman Suit from Spider-Man 3: In the third Spider-Man film from director Sam Raimi, the black symbiote attached itself to Peter's costume, giving it this sleek black look. Though most fans would like to erase the film from their memory, the black symbiote suit can be used once it is unlocked.

The Big Time Suit: Dan Slott and Humbertos Ramos introduced this neon-green costume for the webslinger during their massive overarching arc, "Big Time".

The Belt-less Spider Man Morph Suit: In Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man movie, Peter Parker dons a Spider-Man costume without a belt, giving him a long and slender appearance. As the game takes place after the events of the film, Beenox gave the webslinger a belt to keep with the realistic theme. Where else would he store his new gadgets? The inclusion of this costume skin allows players to drop the belt.

The Party Hat... Suit: Yea, don't ask.

The Vigilante Suit: Before he dons the Spider-Man costume in the film, Peter Parker wanders Manhattan in this "vigilante" outfit. This specific skin is exclusive to PS3.

The Scarlet Spider man Suit (Kaine): When Peter's clone, Kaine, returns after the "Grim Hunt" storyline in the comics, he dons the identity of the Scarlet Spider and wears this awesome red and black costume. It can be seen in the pages of Chris Yost's Scarlet Spider.

The Spider-Morphosis: In The Amazing Spider-Man #437, Spider-Man attempts to rescue the mutant Synch from Plantman, only to be sprayed in the face by mutagenic flowers. Spider-Man's body was transformed into a humanoid spider, his costume shredded, his hands changed into claws, his face into a spider-like visage, with eight tiny eyes and large fangs and other "gross and humiliating changes".

The Future Foundation Suit (Inverted): In the comics, Spider-Man joins Reed Richards’ Future Foundation after Johnny Storm's apparent death. The team change their costumes from the blue to a new sleek black and white look as the FF. During stealth missions, they went with an inverted version of their costumes, this being Spider-Man's.

The New Amazing Spider-Man Suit

The new “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” suit was revealed in Feb, 2013, and the movie is due out on May 2, 2014.

Andrew Garfield’s in his new Spiderman suit looks great. The costume features much bigger white colored eyes, which get definitely new eye shape comparing to the first amazing spiderman suit, and gnarly web shooters throughout. Spider-Man looks as cool as ever.

There are many comments said that this new amazing Spiderman suit is as close as any of the Spider-Man movies have come to matching the character’s design in the comics. What do you think of the new Spiderman suit?

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions features four dimensions (Amazing, Noir, 2099, and Ultimate), each representing a different interpretation of the Spider-Man character found in Marvel comics. This represents a serious departure for Spider-Man games, as almost all of them have been set exclusively in the main "universe" of Marvel comics. The game features a first-person mode in which you have to use the sticks to dodge and punch your foes. This mode only occurs in boss fights.

All Alternate costumes in the game are available to unlock in the game's Web of Destiny except the Cosmic Spider-Man costumes which are available as downloadable content.

This is one thing I never really understand. I quite like the 1st and 3rd one but surely Eddie must have known they weren’t going to stray too far from the costume everyone’s familiar with.
